2010 Ford Fusion and previous-generation Fusion
The steering felt a little bit light to me around the center but when going around corners or blind turns the feel felt more progressive and decidedly European. The suspension ably absorbs bumps and also handles corners with an aplomb not seen well, perhaps ever, with an American family sedan. The 2010 Fusion is a genuinely fun to drive sedan that should please owners all through years of fruitful ownership.
Is it Pet Friendly?
The 2010 Ford Fusion in all its forms uses very high grade materials seemingly picked for their durability. Some of them may not be super-soft to the touch but that attribute is usually what makes trim survive canine abuse.
As for accessories Ford does not offer any canine safety equipment for the Fusion (like some other automakers do with their new models) and that fact is somewhat disappointing. People have the option of chrome-plated door sills for the 2010 Fusion but no Ford designed dog harnesses or seat covers? Come on Ford. Dogs are family too.
