The TCC team is ramping up for the 2010 New York Auto Show, and if you play your cards right, you could be, too. Next week, the folks at Jeep will give away five trips to the show, and one of those lucky five will win a brand new 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander.

The contest takes place on Twitter, and it works like this:

  • Follow @Jeep.
  • Watch for special Jeep trivia questions next week. Jeep will tweet out one question each business day, from Monday, March 15 through Friday, March 19.
  • The first person to tweet back the correct answer will win a trip for two to the 2010 New York Auto Show.
  • At the show, on Thursday, April 1, the five trip winners will dig through a giant sandbox, looking for a "Golden Tiki". (We are not making this up.) Whoever finds the idol first wins a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander.

We admit, the "find the Golden Tiki" thing sounds like a terrible mashup of that Brady Bunch/Hawaii episode with It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World -- or at the least, very Old Testament. Still, if you're new to Twitter, this is a great incentive to learn the service. And besides, it's the New York Auto Show and a new Jeep. What's not to like about that?
