Spy photos that have popped up on Pickuptrucks.com appear to be shots of an upcoming luxury/performance version of the 2011 Ford F-150.
Whether it's the next Harley-Davidson edition or the next Lariat Limited, Pickuptrucks.com caught a test mule that it believes is a 2011 Ford F-150 running around. The Web site believes that the test mule is not the next Harley-Davidson model, but rather, the next Lariat Limited.
The Lariat Limited was first introduced in 2007 as a 2008 model, and only 5,000 units were produced. The 2008 Lariat Limited and the 2007 Harley-Davidson editions shared some key parts, such as the front air dam, the wheels, and the grille.
Pickuptrucks.com says that it thinks the test mule is a Lariat Limited because of styling differences between past Lariat Limited and Harley-Davidson models, and because the tester that was spied has styling cues, such as a body-colored caps on the sideview mirrors, that match that of the previous Lariat Limited.
It's likely that the Lariat Limited edition will probably get a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that makes 411 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque, according to Pickuptrucks.com.
