Dealers losing old friend

Dealers contacted by various news outlets are not happy with this turn of events but there's nothing they can really do about it. One said it was like the loss of an old friend.

About the only caveat that anyone saw was Kelly Blue Book that noted that several years from now these vehicles won't hold much of their value and so the buyer should be aware of that. However, with GM's promise that it would back the warranty on these vehicles, there's really no reason someone shouldn't take advantage of a huge savings on a G6 if they can find one on a Pontiac lot.

Indeed, given the way the business usually goes. If buyers hang on to these last products, they will find their value likely to start climbing as people realize there won't be any more made.
