The 2009 Chrysler 300C Heritage Edition Mixes Luxury Page 2

To make sure drivers of all sizes are accommodated well in the 300C, Chrysler fits power adjustable pedals with memory.  It also fits a remote start system for those cold, winter mornings and evenings.  While weve become accustomed to front heated seats, there are rear heated seats on the 2009 Heritage Edition

Other niceties on this vehicle include uconnect phone, automatically dimming rearview mirror with microphone interface, rear (beeping) parking assistance, power sunroof, engine block heater, an excellent multimedia navigation system with GPS, Sirius traffic (1-year service gratis) and the uconnect Sirius TV video entertainment system for the three rear-seat passengers, also with a years service gratis.  Only two headphones are included.

The price of the 2009 Heritage Edition comes in at a heady $46,040 from its $37,135 starting gate.  It is a steal, however, when one considers the sheer number of usable options and the lack of need to go elsewhere for added comfort or luxury items.  And the Hemi engine?  We have got to love it for the fuel economy of 16/25 mpg from the 19-gallon tank.  Over the road mileage should be better than that, if previous experience attests.

Trunk space is a completely usage 15.6 cubic feet and the cargo hold is finished beautifully, as one would expect from a car of this class.  There is a 60/40 seat fold and the battery and spare tire are under the floor, aiding weight distribution.   Warranty is standard: 3 years/36,000 miles basic and includes 24-hour towing assistance, but the powertrain has lifetime coverage.  No small potatoes.

Although Chrysler is slow to change its media fleet from one year to the next; in this case its a benefit, not a drawback.  It seems the same has holds true for model years in the marketplace, making the 2009 Chrysler 300C Heritage Edition a worthy vehicle to examine and perhaps, to purchase.  After all, Chrysler's made it possible to forgo visitors to aftermarket suppliers; theyve applied nearly all the bling themselves and kept, with this version, the safety items atop most buyers wish lists.

  1. When I first purchased the vehicle, the chrome strips running along the doors on both sides of the car had started to look like they were corroding, which was replaced under warranty.
After 7 months and 23***km, that's the only thing actually defective/broken.
