Honda "New Small Concept" Revealed

January 5, 2010

Almost immediately after Toyota announced it would be unveiling a new economy car concept at the Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi, India this month, Honda came out and made virtually the exact same announcement.

Today Honda has gone a step further and revealed its new concept, which has been titled simply the “Honda New Small Concept.” The latest show car is a preview of a new small-sized vehicle that Honda is currently developing especially for India and other emerging nations and is due to go on sale in 2011.

In developing the car, engineers selected a wide platform with a stable center of gravity. Despite its small stature, the concept vehicle can seat up to five people and most of their gear. Not much else is known about the concept but expect it to be devoid of most luxury and safety features we all take for granted back home.
