There's a mixture of good and sad news today. To start with the worst and attempt to move on: Saab is no more, as GM hasn't found a suitable buyer. Without disclosing any specifics, GM announced this morning that it would begin the winding-down process of the Swedish brand it has held for the last 20 years after talks with Spyker produced "certain issues." Catch the full story of Saab's downward spiral here or over at Motor Authority.
Looking around the rest of the industry, Ford's 2011 Mustang GT got a bit of an early reveal thanks to loose lips on Facebook and Twitter. But thanks to their disregard for the aging "embargo" concept, we can now tell you the 5.0 is back. Rated at 412 horsepower, it's sure to stir some excitement.
For those of you with enough excitement in your life, the 2011 Toyota Sienna may be just the bit of rolling serenity you need. To find out if it'll suit you and your family, read Marty Padgett's drive report here at TheCarConnection.
On the greener side of the 'net, GreenCarReports has news on plans to make the 2011 Nissan LEAF EV audible, a preview of BMW's next electric concept and an answer to the question of when plug-in hybrids will start to pay off. The celeb front sees Justin Timberlake taking a deal as Audi's ambassador and Shakira sharking for SEAT.
