The 2010 Dodge Ram is the Big Bruiser of Full Size Pickups

Follow Jim

Goodness gracious this puppy is huge. Its the 2010 Dodge Ram and boy does it look like one angry dog! With a recent roof to ground redesign, the Dodge Ram has truly undergone a quality transformation. It also now has some of the coolest toys available on full size pickups anywhere. Who thought Chrysler could hit one out of the park when they are in such obvious financial dire straits?

The interior of the new Ram is a true revelation for a Chrysler and really is the only relevant vehicle on the market right now from this beleaguered manufacturer. The Ram revolutionized the industry with its clever (and unfortunately optional) side lockboxes that allow safe storage of personal items in that unused space alongside the cargo bed. Available with 5.7 liter V8 Dodge Hemi power, this is the pickup truck for the person who likes their ride butch and rough.

That isn't to say this truck rides roughly, however, as it is the first truck with an independent rear suspension. This also doesnt take away from towing capacity as it is totally competitive with both the Ford and Chevy with their antiquated leaf spring rear suspension designs.

The one thing holding back this well built full size pickup from a total victory over the F-150 is the fact that it is from a manufacturer with a very shaky future. Granted, Fiat does have the resources to turn this ship around (more so than a manufacturer like Koenigseggsorry Saab) but it is going to be an uphill battle for Dodge unless it gets more buzz-worthy products in its lineup.

  1. Old used dodge trucks are usually good for agricultural use. Dodge trucks have stronger body made up of steel. People have nice collection of used dodge trucks. They buy it from private dealers and trade shows. When you buy used dodge truck, you may have to spend some amount of money on its maintenance and some minor garage works.
