Apart from her music, we don't have anything against Taylor Swift. In fact, we felt pretty bad about that whole VMA thing with Kanye and Beyonce and the Henny and the internet meme that just wouldn't die. However, after seeing Taylor on Saturday Night Live last weekend, we're beginning to wonder if she shouldn't be interrupted more often. Case in point: this video, in which her teenage character goes on a tirade about her parents' terrible driving habits. Thankfully, Kristen Wiig was on-hand to save the day. [Vimeo via MP]

  1. What the hell?? This skit was funny as hell. Why your bashing it is beyond me. Taylor held her own on SNL.

  3. Hmm. I'll give TS a little respect during the in-car sequences. That opening, though... Well, to each his (or her) own.

Full disclosure: I'm a huge Kristen Wiig fan, so, you know, it's hard for me to notice anyone else when that crazy lady's on camera.

  4. This was AWESOME -- get over yourself, you hater...I have 3 daughters (2 teenagers and 1 young adult) and we all laughed until we cried over this one. The monologue song was brilliant too. Leave poor Taylor Swift alone. She isn't guilty of anything except being young...hmmm...perhaps jealousy is your motivation...
