The Highly Useful and Utterly Unappreciated Mazda5 Minivan

2008 Mazda5 interior

Price: starting at $18,745

Pardon me for making up a word but the Mazda5 but I have been backed into a corner due to the fact that the Mazda5 really isn't a minivan. It's more of a "mini-minivan" really. But seeing as the spacious and comfortable 5 is based on the sporty 3 chassis that is no bad thing. Unlike your average Grand Caravan the Mazda5 revels being chucked around tight S-turns and begs the driver to push its limits just a little farther. Yes, I am still talking about a minivan.

While this minivan is best for smaller families or those with younger children you cant really argue with the price or the fact that it gets 28 miles per gallon on the highway. This is all in addition to seating six comfortably and featuring the ease of use afforded by twin sliding doors. The Mazda5 really is ideal for retired grandparents on a budget who want a fun to drive carry all that is perfect for those weeks when they have the grandkids visiting. In a world of constantly fluctuating gas prices this is the future of the minivan.
