Fiat's Giant 500C: Too Big For Europe, Just Right For U.S.

Between its merger with Chrysler and the European launch of its 500C convertible, Fiat has been big news lately, but "big" isn't big enough for the company's marketing team. To drive home that point, Fiat is dragging a giant-sized, 5:1 scale model of the 500C across Europe. Obviously, it doesn't do much for those wanting a test-drive, but anyone harboring Lily Tomlin/Edith Ann fantasies is definitely in luck. Not that Fiat asked, but we'd suggest bringing the mock-up stateside: given our love of bigass cars, this might almost be enough to get Americans behind the 500C's tiny wheel. [Carscoop]

  1. Given you are also getting the Alfa MiTo as well as the 500...then I would expect a number of big arsed Americans are getting behind the 'tiny' wheel of a 1:1 scale Fiat 500
