We've shown you the grainy teaser photo of that new Bugatti concept--some call it the Bordeaux, some sources pick it out as a new Royale. Whatever the name, you'll need to exercise some patience--because, when it comes to an actual, real successor to today's Bugatti Veyron, the car-enthusiast world will have to wait at least a couple of years.
Bugatti officials confirm to TheCarConnection that a concept vehicle revealed in teaser photos will indeed be shown soon--but only to clients and dealers, to test the waters for a possible production vehicle that's at least a couple of years off.
We're certain some cell-phone pics of the concept will leak from the September showing of the concept, which is tied to the Bugatti centennial celebration in Molsheim, France, which will take place just before the Frankfurt Auto show. The new concept, however, will not go on display at the auto show, according to our source.
In the meantime, Bugatti plans on showing a special version of the new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at next month's Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
TheCarConnection will be at Pebble with our friends from Motor Authority--but before the August classics weekend, we'll have a series of posts from our drive of the Veyron Grand Sport yesterday. Stay tuned.
