Hyundai will present a concept called the Nuvis HCD-11 at next week's New York Auto Show. It's meant to provide a glimpse at a new crossover the South Korean company has in its product pipeline.
Styling was done by Hyundai's studio in California, ensuring this is a distinctly American-flavored concept for the land of the utility vehicle. Today Hyundai released a sketch, pictured here.
The intent of the vehicle, says Hyundai, is to blend "a tall urban car and a premium utility vehicle," and it looks to us like the newest member of the BMW X6/Acura ZDX four-door coupe/crossover community though it's not billed as such. The Nuvis' profile plays well with its sleek, swept, modern lines.
Seating for four and gullwing-type doors are not confirmed, but rather rumors circulating around the interwebs.
Stay tuned as we bring you more details from New York.
