Well, it looks like the U.S. Treasury's generous $1.5 billion infusion (last Friday) into Chrysler Financial is trickling down to your local Pentastar dealer. Harking back to the gonzo car dealers who warbled catchy phrases while slamming their fists atop hoods, Chrysler today stammers the arrival of its "Employee Pricing Plus Plus" program, aimed to get you into the seat of a Chrysler product pronto.

Bad credit? No credit? No problem! Er...I made that up. But, presumably, access to credit has been freed up considerably for those going through Chrysler Financial, and all Chrysler vehicles will retail at employee pricing. Still not enough of an incentive for you? Well, choose an '08 and get up to $6,000 back or up to $3,500 back if you must have an '09.

But wait...there's more! Finance your ride through Chrysler Financial and receive $1,000 in consumer bonus cash, and benefit from zero-percent financing for up to 48 months if your credit is worthy.

Whether or not these impressive deals will have consumers lining up to bid on Caravans, Calibers, and Compasses when the program launches January 26 remains to be seen. But with the promise of stimulating Fiat Group mechanicals under the hoods of future Chrysler products, we hope sales take off.
