The 2009 Lincoln MKS highlights the far corner of the Ford stand at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, with a trio of new and tuned MKS sedans showing off Lincoln's latest push toward modernity. Only here, it's as if the tunables in question--Ford's own Custom Accessories line--are from another era. The MKS has so much in its favor, like flat cornering and a genuinely attractive wedge shape, that it's a shame to see old-skool gold applied not just to the grille and jewelry, but all around the windows and even inside, on the dash. Behold the horror of the interior trim panels if you must, but remember--you can probably get the same effect by shopping in the Target clearance aisles after Christmas.
