It's become a tradition for Chrysler each August--the arrival of a new limited-edition PT Cruiser retro wagon, themed for the upcoming Woodward Dream Cruise.

The latest special edition gets a two-tone paint job with a black roof and spoiler atop a coat of white pearlescent paint on the remainder of its panels. Aluminum grilles are fitted on the front end, along with chromed molding and door badges. Seventeen-inch wheels are a part of the packages as well. Inside the Dream Cruiser Series 5 get a gray interior with chrome and leather trim.
Powertrains are identical to other Cruisers, with a choice of a 150-horsepower four or a turbocharged, 180-hp four teamed to a four-speed automatic. Sirius satellite radio and a Boston Acoustics audio system are also included, along with power features.
This edition of the PT Cruiser will be limited to 1,750 copies, each tagged at $22,700 including destination.
