The new sedan and wagon--which account for almost 50 percent of Audi's sales in the United States--are headed for showrooms with a sticker price starting at $32,700 for the sedan, and $34,500 for the A4 Avant wagon.
Audi says the lineup in the United States will include the turbo four with front-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel drive, as well as the V-6 with a six-speed automatic and quattro. The Avant comes in one configuration: turbo four with quattro.
“The combination of efficiency, power, performance and design make the A4 the new segment standard,” said Johan de Nysschen, executive vice president, Audi of America.
