Back in January, we showed you all the photos of the 2009 HUMMER H3T we could score from GM's massive public-relations mothership. We also previewed HUMMER's baby truck in advance of a review we'll bring you soon.
Until then, we'll just tease you by proxy. GM released a wad of new high-resolution pics of the 2009 HUMMER H3T
today, all of them from a recent drive near Moab, Utah. Moab's the slick-rock off-roading capital of the world -- and as you can see from the signs snapped in their latest PR pics, the road to get back to Moab after a day of sliding and crawling takes you right through "Hell's Revenge."
The 2009 HUMMER H3T, by the way, goes on sale later this year. It'll be outfitted in base versions with a standard 3.7-liter in-line five-cylinder that produces 242 horsepower with either a five-speed manual or an old-school four-speed automatic. The Alpha-level 5.3-liter V-8 with 300 horsepower is optional. Full-time four-wheel drive is standard, as are functional skid plates and 32-inch tires. Taller 33-inch tires and locking differentials are optional.
Stay tuned for our full review of the new HUMMER truck.
