Five months after the five-door Chevrolet Aveo was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, first pictures of the three-door have been released by the firm’s European arm. The new car's getting a world debut at the Geneva auto show
Together the pair will replace the Kalos, one of the few surviving models from the Daewoo era before GM’s stewardship. The three-door model goes on sale next month, the five-door in June.
Buyers will have a choice of two gasoline engines: a 1.2-liter unit with an output of 84 hp and a 1.4 with 101 hp. Some markets may choose to offer only the smaller unit in the three-door car, as they did with the Kalos. Prices will start at the equivalent of around $13,500.--Richard Yarrow
