TheCarConnection.com’s spies work overtime to bring you the latest shots. Here’s the proof: the latest images of the Dodge crossover vehicle, hitting our email box on a Saturday. Dedication or foolishness? All for you, baby. Meanwhile, the crossover—which was being clinicked in SoCal for future buyers, was nabbed while shoppers judged its interior, roominess, drivetrain, but obviously not its exterior design (unless clever Dodge marketers had drawings for them to contemplate.) The new crossover could also replace the PT Cruiser—and is likely headed for a 2008 intro.

  1. Call it a huncy, but if Chrysler is positioning this new larger, non-retro, V6 powered crossover against Highlander, Pilot and Murano, then perhaps it's not a PT Cruiser replacement but a completely different vehicle. That's like saying the GMC Acadia replaced the Pontiac Aztek...

  2. the taillights look vaguely like those on the avenger... and it looks like there is a notch in the tailgate very similar to that on the caliber where the rear window meets the tailgate about 2 inches or so forward... interesting
