Honda Accord Tourer: Remember When?

September 11, 2007

Remember when you could buy a Honda Accord wagon? You wagon lovers out there certainly do and lament the day Honda stopped selling the more versatile iteration of their best-selling sedan in the U.S. Well, our friends across the pond have had a wagon version of their Accord called the Tourer and Honda used the Frankfurt show to debut their concept of the next-generation version.

While officially a concept, the Accord Tourer looks ready for production. Its sleek lines hint at a sportier vehicle without giving up the versatility inherent to wagons. From the side and rear, it has hints of Alfa Romeo and the front is reminiscent of Honda’s Acura brand in the U.S. If the design language carries through to production, Honda’s European customers will have a beautiful wagon as an option on shopping day.

The all-new Accord Tourer and Sedan will debut at the 2008 Geneva Auto show.
