2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe
Infiniti says it will bring a pair of new vehicles to the New York Auto Show in April — one a production car, one a concept.
The production car is the new 2008 Infiniti G37 Coupe, which presumably sports a larger-displacement version of Nissan’s VQ V-6 engine, along with “a few other technological surprises,” Nissan says.
A convertible version of the G37 has been making its way around the rumor mill for years, but Nissan confirmed nothing about a potential 2009 model-year release for it in its latest release.
The second vehicle at the Infiniti display will be the EX Concept. No details were divulged, but Infiniti promises that it will contain “technological features that are expected to make it to a production vehicle – for the first time ever – by the end of the year.” Earlier this year, Nissan confirmed it would show a small Infiniti sport-ute at the New York auto show, one not based on the upcoming Nissan Rogue, but instead derived from the company’s rear-drive platform.
Both vehicles will be introduced at the New York Auto Show on Wednesday, April 4, 2007.
