becoming a game of MPGs. Ryan Newman's #12 AllTel/Penske Racing South
Dodge had
it, and the #29 Goowrench/Richard Childress Racing Chevy of Kevin Harvick
didn't. Both Harvick and Newman pitted on lap 198 while leading, and Newman
returned to the fray first, solidifying his lead on lap 210 when all the
cars ahead
of him pitted under caution. Meanwhile Harvick worked back into ssecon on lap
225, and was close behind when a restart came at lap 240. Then three laps from
the end, Harvick's Chevrolet ran out of gas, boosting Tony Stewart's #20 Home
Depot/Joe Gibbs Racing Chevrolet to second, Jimmie Johnson's #48 Lowe's Home
Improvement/Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, to third, Johnson's teammate Jeff
Gordon in the #24 DuPont Refinishes Chevrolet to fourth, and Michael Waltrip's
#15 NAPA Auto Parts/DEI Chevrolet to fifth, with Harvick finally finishing

7/12 Built Ford Tough 225 presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers,
Kentucky Speedway, Sparta, KY (150 Laps; 122.393 MPH Ave. Speed) Last week it
was Jon Wood in the #50 Bob Graham for President/Roush Racing Ford F-150 who
broke through for his first win in the Series, and this weekend it was Wood's
teammate, Carl Edwards, in the #99 Roush Racing Ford, winning for the
very first
time. Finishing second was Ted Musgrave's #1 Mopar Performance Parts/Ultra
Motorsports Dodge, 3.568 seconds back. Dennis Setzer's #16 Acxiom/Computer
Associates Chevrolet was 3rd, Wood was 4th, and in fifth was the #2
ASE/CarQuest/Ultra Motorsports Dodge of Jason Leffler. Next Race: 7/19

Lasoski, in the #20 J.D. Byrider/Tony Stewart Motorsports Eagle wound up
fifth.
