Passat An all-new version of Volkswagen's mid-size Passat sedan debuts for 2006 that's larger in nearly every dimension and offers a roomier interior, with 2.4-inches of rear-seat legroom added. A 2.0-liter, turbocharged, direct-injection four-cylinder engine comes standard and delivers 200 horsepower. It's mated to a six-speed manual transmissin, with a six-speed automatic that features Tiptronic manual-shift capability optional
