2008 LINCOLN MKX STYLING | [8 out of 10] Cars.com: "chrome cheese-grater grille is distinctive" Autoblog: "A very muscular stance, kind of like a British bulldog" Kelley Blue Book: "Noticeably devoid of gratuitous chrome" The 2008 Lincoln MKX is Lincoln's entry into the quickly growing crossover market, and its exterior makes quite the statement. The exterior of the 2008 Lincoln MKX is nothing if not distinct. ForbesAutos says that the "MKX distinguishes itself from boxier-looking SUVs with a more stylish exterior" that features a "sleek roofline that sweeps gracefully rearward"--somewhat at odds with Autoblog's description of the MKX's "very muscular stance, kind of like a British bulldog." I had been shopping for a new Luxury crossover for months. I looked and drove all of the usual suspects and consider myself a car nut. I almost didn't even consider the Lincoln MKX. I am glad I did. I read all of the reviews and opinions out there and figured it was worth a look. My wife loves the look of it. I was very impressed with the interior both in sytle and room. We take a lot of trips with the kids (they are nearly grown) and they have a ton of room the back seat. The rear seats recline really far compared to most in the class. The Sync system is awsome. I can see Sync as one of those can't live without it features. The MKX does everything well, and somethings great. I could not find anything that seemed just okay. I can't wait to pick it up on friday.
