The 2009 Honda Pilot is the next evolution of Honda's large crossover. This year's model finds Honda moving away from the crossover and into the direction of the SUV segment. The exterior has a boxier, brutish style, as opposed to the sleeker and more subtle styling of the 2008 edition. The frame is thicker than it has been in the past, which can lead to some visibility problems when executing turns, and the front grille is garishly oversized. The interior space is where the Pilot really shines. The vehicle is filled with numerous oversized bins that are easy to locate and that provide ample storage for any and all traveling needs. There is also an auxiliary input jack located in the front center console, which allows an MP3 player to be easily integrated into the driving experience.
