Other Choices:

Crossover vehicles have come into their own, with many great choices available. The new Chevy Equinox and Kia Sorento are compelling choices, with four- and six-cylinder engines and plenty of spread-out room. The Hyundai Santa Fe ranks with them, as does the bigger Toyota RAV4, while the latest Subaru Forester spins four-cylinder power in a stylish new body-but without a third-row seat (like the Equinox). The Ford Escape offers a hybrid edition, and the Honda CR-V sticks with meager four-cylinder power but has good interior room and a durable reputation. The Mitsubishi Outlander is close to the Journey in look and feel, and shares its lackluster performance, but gets new styling for 2010.
