Used Ford Explorer Buying Tip
Over the past dozen years, the Explorer SUV has come in a few different body styles. The basic five-door sport-utility is the most familiar--and the most useful, in our opinion--but before 2011, Ford also offered the Explorer Sport Trac. It was a hybrid of an Explorer body with a Ranger pickup bed that didn't offer much more in the way of utility, and suffered in safety. We'd pass on it, as well as the two-door Explorers offered during the 1990s.
