Used Chevrolet Buying Tip

With the Equinox, Chevy finally fielded a mid-size crossover that could take on the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape. Newer versions are the ones we'd recommend; before 2010, the Equinox had powertrains that struggled to deliver competitive gas mileage and performance, and handling was below par. The current Equinox made its debut in 2010, and of the different versions we've driven, we'd choose front-drive versions with the four-cylinder engine unless we often carried a full load of passengers or cargo. Great gas mileage is its calling card, though the optional V-6 isn't bad for the class.
