For 2007, the full-size Sequoia SUV receives standard driver- and front-passenger seat-mounted side airbags and two-row curtain/side impact airbags. These were formerly optional. Also, the rated output of the standard 4.7-liter V-8 dips slightly to 273 horsepower (vs. 282 previously) due to changes in the way engine power is reported. The engine itself is basically identical to the one used in the 2006 model. Minor exterior trim changes for 2007 include a new color-keyed grille insert on the SR5 model and chrome rear view mirrors on the top-of-the-line Limited grade. Otherwise, the Sequoia is basically a carryover from ’06.
