Grand Vitara

Suzuki's smallest sport-utility vehicle continues in a single four-door model for 2005 with a three-point seatbelt added to the rear center seat as its only noteworthy change. Power comes from a 165-horsepower, 2.5-liter V-6 engine powers Suzuki's compact four-door Grand Vitara sport utility vehicle that drives either the rear or all four wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox; a four-speed-automatic transmission is optional. The 4WD version comes with low range gearing for serious off-roading that many small crossover SUVs in its class simply can't handle. Automatic air conditioning, a stereo, cruise control, rear defroster, power locks, mirrors and windows, tilt steering column w/touch controls, privacy glass, rear wiper/washer come standard on the base LX model. The EX version adds anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution, cruise control, fog lamps, heated power mirrors, a rear spoiler, power sunroof, and alloy wheels.
