Quest

Nissan designed the Quest minivan to stand out from the pack with its long wheelbase, swoopy exterior, and a uniquely styled interior that's highlighted by a large center instrument pod. Unfortunately for the Quest, different is not always better, however. It  shares its underlying platform and 240-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine with the Murano sport-utility vehicle. A four-speed automatic transmission comes standard, while the top SE model includes a five-speed automatic gearbox. Four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist, traction control and side-curtain airbags to protect occupants in all three rows of seats come standard. Both the second and third-row seats fold flat for maximum cargo-carrying abilities. A long list of family friendly options offers items like either a single- or dual-screen DVD entertainment system, SkyView multiple sunroofs, leather seats, a Bose audio array, and a choice of satellite radio systems. For 2006, a new 3.5 S Special Edition trim level includes a power right-hand door, power liftgate, power third-row vent windows, in-dash CD changer, upgraded audio speakers, rear sonar system, and illuminated steering wheel switches. Heated seats are added to the SL Leather and Bose Package, a front-row folding center tray table with cup holders becomes standard on 3.5 SL and 3.5 SE, a color seven-inch LCD screen with RearView monitor now comes on 3.5 SE, and is available on the 3.5 SL, and run-flat tires are newly added to the options list. Red Brawn is a new exterior color choice.
