Navigator

This stylishly trimmed upscale version of the full-size Ford Expedition comes powered by a 5.4-liter V-8 engine that generates an ample 300 horsepower. A new six-speed automatic transmission becomes standard for 2005, and there remains a choice of rear- and four-wheel drive models. The Navigator's tire-pressure monitoring system receives a number of improvements, and high-intensity headlamps are now available on all versions. Four-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes with brake assist, and front side and safety canopy airbags are included, and Ford's Roll Stability Control system becomes newly standard for 2005. The vehicle's exterior is freshened with a new front fascia and chrome grille, and revised side cladding and running boards. Its myriad available comfort and convenience features include power-folding third-row seats, a DVD entertainment system, and power-deploying running boards.
