The 2008 Lincoln MKX has undergone a full battery of crash tests and emerged as one the safest cars on the road today.

The Lincoln MKX 2008 has proved its mettle in a variety of crash tests, earning the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's top scores in frontal, side, and rear impact tests. The Lincoln MKX also drives away with an IIHS Top Safety Pick award. In government tests, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration awarded the Lincoln MKX 2008 five stars for driver protection and four stars for passenger protection during front crash tests, as well as five stars for side-impact crashes.     Best on the market!

    I had been shopping for a new Luxury crossover for months. I looked and drove all of the usual suspects and consider myself a car nut. I almost didn't even consider the Lincoln MKX. I am glad I did. I read all of the reviews and opinions out there and figured it was worth a look. My wife loves the look of it. I was very impressed with the interior both in sytle and room. We take a lot of trips with the kids (they are nearly grown) and they have a ton of room the back seat. The rear seats recline really far compared to most in the class. The Sync system is awsome. I can see Sync as one of those can't live without it features. The MKX does everything well, and somethings great. I could not find anything that seemed just okay. I can't wait to pick it up on friday.
