The Mark LT is a full-size, four-door luxury pickup based on the Ford F-Series. It offers roomy four-door cabin, plenty of features and a useful 5.5-foot (and optional 6.5-foot) cargo bed. For the new model year, all Mark LTs get a revised front-end treatment with new grille and headlamps, plus chrome trim surrounds for the rear taillamps, in addition to the optional long bed. A new DVD navigation system can be ordered, too, along with 20-inch rims and power folding heated outside rearview mirrors. The longer-wheelbase version with the 6.5-foot bed offers 10 cubic feet more storage space. There is a new Monochrome Appearance Package that includes body-colored grille surrounds and step bars -- and an Elite Package that adds chrome step bars, a reverse sensing system, a DVD-based navigation system, sunroof and tow package. Powertrains and trim levels otherwise carry over for '07. Under the hood, the same 5.4-liter V-8 engine with electronic throttle control and 300 horsepower returns with a maximum rated towing capacity of 8,900 pounds. A four-speed automatic transmission is the standard transmission. The Mark LT's suspension has been softened up relative to the F-Series to provide a smoother ride in both rear- and four-wheel drive versions. Four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution are standard. The truck's interior is trimmed with Ebony wood accents and sports heated Nudo leather seats.
