 SC430

Coming equipped with a power-retractable hardtop, this sleekly styled rear-drive roadster continues for 2006 with revised styling that includes a new front grille and front bumper, updated LED tail lights, and a fresh headlamp design that includes adaptive lighting, which helps illuminate the road at night around curves. It's powered by a muscular 4.3-liter V-8 that generates 300 horsepower and drives the rear wheels via a new six-speed sequential shift automatic transmission that affords improved acceleration and fuel economy; revised gear ratios also help lower interior noise levels at cruising speeds. Four-wheel disc power anti-lock brakes, traction control, Vehicle Skid Control (with an off switch that allows aggressive motorists unbridled cornering abilities), and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels and Z-rated tires help contribute to the SC430's well-balanced handling characteristics. A long list of features is included. New exterior colors for 2006 include Mercury Metallic, Matador Red, Chardonnay Pearl, and Black Pearl, and a new Camel-leather interior includes Espresso-wood trim.
