Without NHTSA or IIHS testing completed, TheCarConnection.com’s editors were unable to draw conclusive evidence of the 2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport's safety features or capabilities. Crash tests on the 2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport had not been conducted by either the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) when this article was published.

There are, however, plenty of reassuring safety features in the 2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport.
