Freelander

The smallest Land Rover was freshened with updated interior and exterior updates last year to help better identify it with the line-leading Range Rover, and thus remains relatively unchanged for 2005. Power continues to come from a 2.5-liter V-6 engine that sends 175 horses to all four wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift capability and hill-descent control. All-terrain anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution are standard, as are myriad comfort and convenience items. Available luxury items include Park Distance Control, a Harmon-Kardon premium audio system, a power sunroof, and heated leather seats.
