The QX56 is essentially Infiniti's more-opulently equipped version of the Nissan Armada full-size sport-utility vehicle. While it offers more-dignified exterior styling cues and a slightly softer ride than its Nissan sibling, it shares the Armada's chassis, 315-horsepower 5.6-liter V-8 engine and five-speed automatic transmission. Both rear- and four-wheel-drive versions are available. The QX56 includes standard front side and side-curtain airbags, four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes with electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, Vehicle Dynamic Control and limited-slip traction control, and it rides on 18-inch wheels and tires. The car's myriad creature comforts include dual-zone automatic air conditioning, a Bose stereo with CD changer, a navigation system, and a garage door opener. A laser-guided cruise control system, rear-view video backup monitor, a DVD entertainment system, and a choice of satellite radio systems are optional.

Audacious and damned proud of it.
