Tiburon

The front-drive Tiburon continues for 2005 with only minor alterations, and remains a wildly styled subcompact sports coupe that delivers decent performance for the money in both four-cylinder and V-6-powered versions. A 138-horsepower 2.0-liter in-line four-cylinder powerplant is standard with the base version, and can be mated to either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. The top GT trim level offers a brisker 172-horsepower 2.7-liter V-6 powerplant, and offers the choice of either a standard six-speed stick shift or the four-speed automatic gearbox. Standard features include four-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, a CD stereo, power windows, locks and mirrors, fog lights, and alloy wheels. The GT adds amenities like anti-lock brakes, a rear spoiler, leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and 17-inch wheels and tires.
