Hyundai's flagship sedan enters 2007 with minor updates, including steering wheel audio controls with seek up/down now standard equipment on all trim levels, new rearview mirrors with side marker indicators added to Ultimate Package, a new electroluminescent cluster display for Limited models and light gray contrasting stitching on models equipped with black leather interiors. The Azera has an impressive 44 inches of front-seat legroom and more than 38 inches of legroom for rear-seat passengers—as much (or more) room than some traditional-brand luxury cars that can cost twice as much. All Azeras are powered by a 263-horsepower 3.8-liter V-6 teamed up with a five-speed automatic transmission with manual control function. SE and Limited trim levels are available. The SE comes standard with AC, electronic stability control and traction control, a six-speaker AM/FM/CD/MP3 audio system, LED tail and brake lamps, electrochromatic mirror with compass and HomeLink and power driver and passenger seats. An optional premium package adds a power sunroof and a 315-watt Infinity premium audio system. Top-of-the-line Limited models get 17-inch alloy wheels with VR-speed rated tires, leather seats, heated front seats, steering-wheel and door pull wood trim, a power rear sunshade and bumper moldings with chrome-inserts. Available options include a power adjustable tilt-and-telescopic steering column, integrated memory system, power-adjustable foot pedals and rain-sensing wipers. All models get eight airbags and active head restraints.
