Hyundai's smallest and least-expensive model line is diversified for 2007 with the addition of GS and SE three-door models. The four-door GLS sedan version continues to be offered as well. All models are powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 110 horsepower; a five-speed manual transmission is standard with a four-speed automatic available optionally. The new GS and SE three-door models get a body colored grille and revised headlamps, 16-inch wheels with VR-rated performance tires and rear spoiler (SE models). An interesting (and new for 2007) option is the available B&M Racing sport shifter for manual-equipped SE models. All '07 Accents come standard with front-seat side-impact air bags and head/curtain airbags, as well as intermittent wipers and rear window defroster. Air conditioning (standard on SE and GLS) and upgrade audio systems (including a 220-watt premium audio system with AM/FM/cassette/6-disc, in-dash CD changer with equalizer and amplifier) are among the major options. GLS sedans may be ordered with a Premium Sport Package that includes the SE's 15-inch alloy wheels with 195/55VR15 tires.
