Changes and updates to Honda's high-performance rear-wheel-drive roadster for 2007 are minimal and include a new electronic Drive-by-Wire (DBW) Throttle System for the 2.2-liter, 237-horsepower, four-cylinder engine, a new outside temperature gauge, standard stability control and new speaker headrests. Six new colors are available—Laguna Blue Pearl, Silverstone Metallic, New Formula Red, Rio Yellow Pearl, Berlina Black and Grand Prix White. Otherwise, the S2000 is a carryover. A six-speed-manual is the car's only available gearbox. Seventeen-inch alloy wheels and performance tires are standard. Four-wheel-disc brakes with anti-lock brakes, a limited-slip differential and bolstered sport buckets are also included in the car's base price, as are A/C, a stereo with CD player, keyless entry and leather upholstery. An aluminum hardtop and XM Satellite Radio are available as dealer installed options. The S2000's engine is capable of spinning to 9,000 rpm and offers the dedicated enthusiast driver a true high-performance sports car experience.
