The Edge is a new mid-size, four-door, five-passenger crossover. It comes standard with a 3.5-liter, 265-horsepower engine, a six-speed automatic transmission and offers an available all-wheel-drive system. Standout features include a large, panorama-style Vista Roof, 20-ounce cupholder in each front-door map pocket, and a 60/40 reclining split second row that folds to provide a level load floor for carrying equipment in the large cargo area. The Edge can transport items as long as eight feet inside with the front passenger seat folded down. Each rear seat can also be folded manually using an industry-first single-hand release or automatically with an available EasyFold electro-mechanical remote release accessible from the rear cargo area. Standard safety equipment includes traction and stability control, seat-mounted side-impact airbags, an air curtain system and anti-lock brakes. The Vista Roof features a large 27.3- by 29.4-inch forward panel that offers tilt and slide opening and a 15.75- by 31.3-inch fixed rear glass panel. A one-touch-open switch provides open-air touring.
