If you want to be assured of the prime valet parking spot in front of any restaurant, and can afford the privilege, this would be your ride of choice. It looks every bit the part of the exotic near-race-car it is under its sleekly styled skin and runs as fast as it looks thanks to its front-mounted 515-horsepower 5.8-liter V-12 engine. Its electro-hydraulic "F1" control unit includes both normal and "sport" modes, with a choice of manual or automatic shifts. There's an optimal 50-50 weight distribution front-to-rear which, along with the Maranello's racing-inspired suspension, delivers exceptional handling, even for a Ferrari. Those affluent enthusiasts on the waiting list for the 2005 model will find little changed from last year's edition.
