Chrysler introduced the all-new 1999 300M and LHS sedans last spring. These models and the rest of the line see minor changes for 1999.

The 300M has engineering improvements that reduce noise, vibration and harshness. It offers automatic headlamps that light automatically at dusk. New leather is being used in the seats and there is a new exterior and interior color. The LHS gets next-generation hybrid driver and front-passenger airbags, all-new and stiffer body structure, new leather seat materials and a new exterior color.

The Cirrus LXi has revised suspension tuning to improve ride control while reducing harshness, and four-wheel disc brakes are now standard equipment. The Cirrus LXi adopts the new winged badge on its front grille, giving it a stronger link to other offerings within the Chrysler brand. Other cosmetic changes include new standard chrome 15-inch wheel covers and optional aluminum 15-inch wheels, a revised instrument cluster.

The Concorde, which was completely redesigned for 1998, gets several enhancements. These include a luxury-tuned suspension, new interior fabrics and leather, enhanced noise, vibration and harshness control and a new exterior color.

The Sebring convertible gets next-generation driver airbags. The coupe gets next generation driver and front-passenger airbags.

Early last year Chrysler added the 1999 Town & Country Limited, raising minivan luxury further with a monochromatic exterior, chrome accents, eight-way power heated front seats and more plush carpeting, a new taupe interior, leather seats with suede accents, and seat-mounted grocery-bag hooks and a standard cargo net between the driver and passenger seats to prevent objects from rolling into the rear cabin.
