Chevrolet’s longest sport-utility vehicle shares platforms and powertrains with the GMC Tahoe XL and Cadillac Escalade. It rides on a new 130-inch wheelbase and receives the chassis and suspension updates found on all new/2007 General Motors full-size trucks and SUVS including a wider-track frame with improved structural rigidity, updated suspension system and revised exterior and interior styling. It is offered in LS, LT, and LTZ models, with standard rear- or optional four-wheel drive. The standard engine is a 5.3-liter, 320-horsepower V-8; a 6.0-liter, 366-horsepower V-8 with cylinder deactivation is available. All trims come standard with 17-inch wheels and stability control. Available equipment includes power-release fold-and-tumble second-row seats, remote start, rear park assist, first- and second-row heated seats, a DVD rear-seat entertainment system, a DVD-based navigation system, a rearview back-up camera, and 20-inch wheels (standard on LTZ ).
