The Terraza minivan shares platforms and components with the Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana SV-6, and Saturn Relay vans — but has Buick-specific styling cues and features. For 2007, the seven-passenger Terraza loses its formerly available all-wheel-drive system and is offered in front-drive form only — and in just two trim levels, CX and CXL. On the upside, a 240 horsepower, 3.9-liter V-6 and four-speed automatic transmission are now standard on all models. In addition, the Terraza now offers the latest version of GM’s OnStar communication system with “turn by turn” navigation assistance. There are also three new exterior colors — Light Quartz Metallic, Polar Blue Metallic, and Gold Mist Metallic. An E-85/flex-fuel version of the 3.9-liter engine will reportedly become available later during the model year. Both CX and CXL trims come standard with GM’s StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, low-speed traction control, four-wheel-disc brakes with ABS, and 17-inch wheels. Leather seating with first- and second-row captain’s chairs, a flat-folding 50/50-split rear seat, DVD entertainment system, XM satellite radio, and side-impact and curtain air bags are among the major options.
