Audi's curvy sports coupe and convertible remain both attractive and distinctive inside and out, with crisp handling. Base 180 models come powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower. The 225 versions come with a higher output 1.8-liter that generates a quicker 225 horses and Audi's celebrated quattro all-wheel-drive system. The top 3.2 versions include a 3.2-liter turbocharged V-6 that generates 250 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, along with a clutch-pedal-less six-speed manual Direct Shift Gearbox transmission. It employs a unique double-clutch system to maintain a continuous flow of thrust throughout the engine's available power range and is arguably the best auto/manual shifter in the business. Standard features include anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes, traction control with Anti-Slip Regulation, and a full range of comfort and convenience features. The car remains mainly status quo for 2006.
