Audi's solid-performing sports coupe and convertible remain stylish and capable with a pleasantly rounded exterior and handsome aluminum-trimmed interior.

Last year, newly added versions packed a 250-horsepower 3.2-liter turbocharged V-6 under the hood for added muscle with standard quattro all-wheel-drive to help keep all four wheels securely planted to the pavement. A six-speed manual "Direct Shift Gearbox" transmission was likewise added for 2004 that employs a unique double-clutch system to maintain a continuous flow of thrust throughout the engine's available power range.

Elsewhere in the line, base models come powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 180 horsepower; 225 versions offer a higher output 1.8-liter version that produces a quicker 225 horses and includes the quattro all-wheel-drive system.

All TT variants come loaded with a full range of comfort and convenience features. Few changes are on tap for 2005.
